From March 17th to March 27th various students from Mac 1, Morfee and MSS will be displaying their art. From March 31st to May 16th the BC Design History Exhibition from the Emily Carr Institute will be on display. Sam Carter will be in attendance to talk about the different pieces and to answer any questions anyone may have. Come on out to meet Sam and check out the Exhibition. Opening night will be on March 31st from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. |

Admission by Donation. There will be a live auction and raffle items available. Proceeds from this event will go towards the operating costs for the Mackenzie golf Club for the 2010 season. These proceeds will ensure that the Golf Course continues to operate, and the Charity tournaments can go ahead with their worthwhile fundraising efforts. The Mackenzie Golf Club is an important asset to the community. It promotes tourism, healthy living and it is an attraction for new people moving to Mackenzie. Members and non-members enjoy the club and the course on a daily basis. If you can help out this fundraising event by donating an auction or raffle item it would be gratefully appreciated. This is an evening that all of us can come together and help the Mackenzie Golf Club survive - Fore the Love of the Game. This charity hockey game, between the Mackenzie Firefighters Association and the Chicks With Sticks Women's Hockey Team is being held to help Care & Share and St. Peter's Pantry. Cost to attend this event is just $2.00, or a non-perishable food item. Come on out - cheer on your favourite team - have fun, while at the same time helping out these two worthwhile charities. Doors open at 6:45pm. See you there! |

The Watoto African Children's Choir will be in Mackenzie for a single performance, Tuesday, March 23rd from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in Mac 1 Gym. There is no charge for the concert, but the choir asks that a free will offering be taken to help defray costs. They will also have CD's for sale that night. This is a performance you won't want to miss! |

"Olympic Dreams On Ice" Figure Skating Show |

The Mackenzie Figure Skating Club presents "Olympic dreams on Ice", on March 26th and 27th. Doors open at 6:00pm each night, with the two hour show starting at 7:00pm. Cost to enter is $2.00 per person. There will be raffles - ticket cost is $10. for 11 tickets. There will also be flowers available for sale. |
